I don't see any reason why we can't get at least 6 guys off that list and maybe more.

I think there are a couple kids that could move onto that list from Ohio.

Guys like Ashley, Zordich, J. Williams and Adams.

Then you have guys like Staples, N. Williams, Britt, Craig, McCarthy, Buchanan, and Rowell.

Then throw in a couple of OOS guys and some under the radar guys that will pop up and a couple camp offers and we are talking about one great class.

The best part about the class from Ohio is that it really seems to be balanced with just about every position accounted for.

On Will Hill:

Hill is arguably the best athlete in the Garden State in a decade.

Considering Myron Rolle was from NJ, that is saying something. Maybe NJ-Buckeye can comment more on Will here or in his thread.

On Kenny Tate:

Tate is arguably the most gifted prospect to come out of DeMatha.

Again, that is saying something.

I think I read somewhere that Will Hill likes Michigan.

I think Hill ikes Michigan and Florida State. Also, Patrick Johnson received rave reviews from the Scout AA combine, and received offer from FSU and UF while there. He could be one of the top corners next year along with Cissoko.

Of course, I'm stumped about Beachum being ahead of Torrence... Oh wait, no I'm not, he has an offer from LSU...

Next year should be a really strong class along the OL.

Seemed like kind of a down year this year for offensive lineman.

Looks like there will be another solid crop of senior football players in 2008.

I'm a bit shocked not to see Shugarts up on the 1st team and to see Beachum up on the first team. Beachum is a great player but I would put Hale and probably Torrence ahead of him. Patrick Johnson is quite interested in us I believe. He is from the school of former OSU recruits Taz Wilson and Carlton Jackson, who both loved OSU but never got an offer. Ely used to have a very pro-OSU coach but I'm not sure if he is still there. Other than all of that, good stuff.

I was also suprised by Beachum being first team. Many would say he isn't the best LB on his team.

I am just excited on the amount of talent we are in on in 2008. It seems like the staff is putting out offers earlier(I only remember a few last year) and going all out by spreading a wider net. This could be explained by how talented the 08 class is going to be as it seems deeper than any class that I can remember.

Agreed...I think Zordich is the best LB on that team, and to whoever said above, Zordich is the one with an offer from LSU...Beachum has an offer from Oklahoma.

I would never use the L-word (rhymes with rock) to describe a recruit, especially after this past recruiting season, but it is nice to see Adams' name at the top of the Scout list.
