So the game film in which he crapped on defenses left and right is "hype"?

When you put it like that it sounds like his YouTube's should have catchy titles with numbers and cups in them.

isn't that normally what people base hype on? you say that like it's impossible that he's all hype because he did it against.....*gasp*.....defenses!

He could be all hype. I just don't really see the basis to pnuts34's argument.

Don't mean to offend anyone(calm down), but this kid has been really hyped because of youtube. That site seems to be making a lot of kids stars, before they've really proved anything on the field. I'm only giving my opinion on the kid, and in MY opinion, he's a lot of youtube hype. The jumping over defenders thing is cute, but how many times do you really think he's gonna do that in a Division 1 football game? This isn't High school anymore, the guys are bigger, smarter and faster. I still think that the jury's still out on Noel Devine, I loved watching both of these kids on youtube as well, don't get me wrong but it's a very different level of competition that they're facing. Guys all over the Big10 are salivating at getting to unload on Mr. McGuffie. Let's not forget, Beenie Wells is balling now, but he had a little learning curve when he got to Columbus, and realized that he was no longer the biggest and fastest guy on the field.

If you are only considering players who have significant touches...yes, he still is.
