From IrishEyes  ...McGuffie talks about his ND offer and his style of play. He says his decision will likely come from Notre Dame, Michigan, Oklahoma, Florida and Ohio State.
In this update he says all of the schools mentioned have offered...might be time for a thread title change. Checking on it...

That's not a new article. GBW wrote a generic paragraph about mcguffie (not new intel), then quoted the 2/23 article summarized above your post.

This kid put up unreal numbers last year, and will probably do the same again this year. 3000+ yards at his level and his area is nothing short of spectacular for a junior. Several Horns fans really like this kid, but appears as if Texas never even sniffed in his general direction, so as the one previous poster said, if a Texas fan isn't giving him any respect, probably just denial. But with the way Texas recruiting is working out for 2008, passing on guys (see Jermie Calhoun) is no longer surprising.
This guy seems like a real gamer, and I would love to see you guys get him and JB over the Sooners. Good luck on any of these Texas guys that UT isn't recruiting, there is a lot of top talent this year, too many already committing to OU, with rumors that Calhoun could end up there as well.

From the UM site...supposedly as of a few days ago his favorites are Michigan, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Florida and Georgia Tech...then added Alabama and dropped Texas Tech and Texas A&M from consideration.
Nothing new really...Sam seems as intent on leaving the state as J.B.
