McGuffie & Shugarts are friends, and have talked about playing together in college (OU & UM were the most likely options in that scenario). Now that Shugarts is a buckeye, (not surprisingly) JB is trying to bring McGuffie in too.
Whether OSU has similar plans is yet to be seen, with RB & WR already addressed. Sam could be brought in as an ATH, but numbers are awfully tight.

Maybe bring him into camp and work him out with the DBs. I'd like at least one DB this year(I'm sure Tressel feels the same knowing his infatuation with speed prospects), and if McGuffie proves himself at the position, I'm sure we'd love to have him.

Great, Thanks.
I wouldn't mind seeing him brought in. He is amazingly athletic.

I think the coaches would really be foolish to not bring in McGuffie if he wanted to come here. Bring him in as an athlete and see how things play out. He's a kind of talent I don't think anyone can refuse.

Also, Michigan is going after Covaughn Deboskie as well.

I remember another player that was very athletic and got an offer to be an athlete for ohio state. One heisman trophy later, i would say things turned out pretty well.

I think you make a WR out of him. With that speed and wiggle, he is dangerous in space.
Just watched his videos and he is just fun to watch.
They call him "Matrix", it's easy to see why!
His best asset may be his vision!
