'08 JUCO DE Larry Ford (WVU Verbal)
I highly doubt this "conditional offer" but this kid was a player in HS...we could not block him at the MIKE and he also dominated the SC North/South game. Just keeping this here in case something does develop down the line...

Ford Rising On Recruiting Charts
By Phil Kornblut
Former Georgetown standout DE Larry Ford (6-3 240) spent last season redshirting at Coffeyville JC, KS. Now, major schools are ready to see what he can do this spring and fall. Ford said he has conditional verbal offers from USC, Clemson, Ohio State, Kansas State, Pittsburgh, Washington State, Texas A&M and LSU. The offers are conditional based on his academic progress. He also likes Wake Forest and NC State. Ford said he is doing well academically and is on track to graduate in December. He would have three years to play three on the next level. "My dad wants me to go to USC," Ford said. "It's all about my decision. If I had to choose between USC and Clemson, I'd pick Clemson." Ford said he was eyeballed by a Clemson recruiter he identified as David Blackwell last season. He said he received his USC offer from Brad Lawing Monday. Ford plans to make unofficial visits to USC, Clemson, NC State and Wake Forest while he's home on spring break. Ford made 117 tackles in his senior season of high school and played in the North-South game. He signed with Newberry but decided not to enroll there and ended up at Coffeyville. He's put on 35 pounds since arriving there.

Ford Expecting Big Orange Offer
By Phil Kornblut
DE Larry Ford (6-3 240) of Coffeyville JC, KS spent last week at his home in Georgetown while out on spring break. "I was supposed to go to Clemson and USC while I was at home but I didn't make it," Ford said. "Tennessee's telling me they're going to offer when I get back to school." All the schools offering Ford are doing so contingent on him making his grades. Those include USC, Clemson, Ohio State, Kansas State, Pittsburgh, Washington State, Texas A&M and LSU. Ford said his favorite four schools are USC, Clemson, Wake Forest and NC State, and he really likes Wake. He said he's hearing regularly from USC and Clemson and he talked with Clemson recruiter Chris Rumph late last week.

Coffeyville Duo To Visit Oklahoma
By Phil Kornblut
Teammates DE Larry Ford (6-3 240) and DL Troy Epps (6-1 265) of Coffeyville JC, KS will make unofficial visits to Oklahoma this Saturday. Ford is from Georgetown and Epps is from Union. Ford has also been drawing interest from USC and Clemson. Both have asked him to visit over the summer. He is also getting interest from Ohio State, Kansas State, Pittsburgh, Washington State, Texas A&M, LSU, Wake Forest, NC State and Tennessee. Epps has also drawn interest from Auburn, Kansas and Arizona State. As for Coffeyville DL Chris Donaldson (6-3 280) of Westside, Tennessee continues to show the most interest. "I call Tennessee a lot and talk with coach Chavis," Donaldson said. The Vols placed Donaldson and remain his favorite. He's received mail from USC and Clemson but no direct contact. He expects more schools to become involved once they see him in spring practice.
