Although this class looks as if it may be awesome, it has a long way to go before it can be compared to the class of 1970 (recruited in 1967).
That class included 3 College Football Hall-of-Famers (Rex Kern, Jim Stillwagon, Jack Tatum), the 1970 Lombardi and Outland trophy winner (Stillwagon), the 1970 AP defensive player of the year (Tatum), 7 All-Americans (Kern, Stillwagon, Tatum, Jan White, John Brockington, Tim Anderson and Mike Sensibaugh), 4 additional first team All-Big 10 players (Phil Strickland, Mark Debevc, Doug Adams, Dave Cheney) and 3 other 3 year starters (Bruce Jankowski, Larry Zelina and Leo Hayden).
These players lost only 2 games in their 3 years (freshmen were not eligible then), went 2-1 versus Michigan and won one national championship.
Let's see where we are in 2011 before we label this group the best ever.

I have my fingers crossed. I hear all the recruited Florida studs were here trying to get this stud to believe in the S&G uniform. Brandon is such a special talent....he belongs here!

I agree about the acedemics, big plus. Another quality kid too. Plus, he has SEC speed, just what we need to beat the teams from the south, right?
