Most of the schools, tOSU for sure, were hoping he would stay under the radar... |

St. X stays unbeaten - 3OT thriller
The Enquirer - Defense preserves perfect St. X start
Gerry Reilly intercepted a St. Ignatius pass off a reverse at the 2-yard-line during the scoreless first overtime session. Evan Miller sacked Myers twice, once with help from Muldoon, and Scruggs and Luke Kuechly also added sacks. |

I haven't seen either of these teams play this year, but how little faith do you have to have in your run game to be throwing a pass off of a reverse from the 2 in overtime.

One big reason to have little faith in the run game is X's defense, probably the best in the state this year.

Greg discusses the St. X pipeline to Boston College and the possibility of an offer from tOSU. |

Were we gonna wait on this kid til like January when we have a better idea how many extra ships we'll have??
Wonder if we're now gonna be forced into offering given that some top teams are actively pursuing Greg.. |

There is nothing being forced...he has been kept under the radar for as long as possible.

He'd be one heck of an athletic TE lol

Greg Scruggs was kept under the radar by design for as long as possible...now that you are seeing guys like BK jump on the articles, the gloves have been removed. Look for some tOSU action sooner than later. |

Film My Take: Starting at the :55 second mark, there are 4 straight plays that showed me where the hype is coming from...in the first two, you see Greg squeeze flat and redirect...that is natural movement for him. That is the toughest thing to get a HS DL to do, pay gap responsibility and squeeze excess space..yet, Greg gives a textbook demonstration then shows excellent athleticism on the redirect to get in on the play. Then, we see a nasty burst on the next two plays...unbelievable potential. |
