He had a big game in the state championships, made some great catches and was a one man wrecking crew against Louisville

One big catch can do wonders for nerves.

It helped Nick Truesdell in Friday’s Division II state championship game at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium. The Cincinnati Anderson receiver was able to loosen up for a big night against Louisville after his long touchdown reception early on.

Truesdell caught five passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns in Anderson’s 31-25 victory over the Leopards. He undoubtedly went to bed feeling like a champion after having a hard time sleeping the night before.

This kid is a freak. A true 6'7 with moves and speed. I have no idea how he went this long w/o any offers, but that'll change soon. I'm not sure if we'll have room for him, but I was really impressed with what I saw.

This kid is one heck of a basketball player, too. His performance on Friday night was amazing. for those of you who remember Josh Chichester from Lakota West (a one time OSU recruit) he compares to him...a little more slender but comparable speed and much better hands.

I saw that Anderson Lousville game. I'm not sure how fast his 40 time is, but he looked like he didn't belong on the field the way he was so much bigger and faster than the other players. He was incredibly overpowering and game changing.

Very interesting development... we already have some very tall receivers, obviouly 6'7" will create even more match-up problems.

I went to school with Josh, and thats a great comparison. Truesdell might be a little faster, though. Lets hope he takes his academics a little more seriously than Josh did...

Thank God, there is some justice in the recruiting world. there are a few other posts about Nick in this thread:D2 State Finals: Anderson vs Louisville

In addition to the 129 receiving yards reported, he ran at least 2 end arounds, and returned a punt. If that wasn't enough he played DE on the other side of the ball. Even lined up at DE he looked huge.
If they replay the game on Sports time Ohio I suggest you Tivo it.

Redshirt him
Offer him, redshirt him, put him on tOSUs strength and conditioning program and make a tight end out of him. Is the kid willing to do this and be a willing blocker? Sounds like JT and staff are checking int this, as they should.

This is the kid I was asking about in the Cincinnati HS thread a few weeks ago...here is some info via PM:
