A few updates:
ND pulled a huge coup when Kapron Lewis-Moore, originally a Texas A&M pledge, signed an LOI to head to South Bend. Ramon Buchanan (orginially a Miami commit) had switched his commitment to Illinois but has signed today with the Canes. Ricky Barnum, a Florida verbal for the last month, has signed with Michigan. PSU made a late push for Deion Walker but he has decided to stick with his pledge to ND. There were rumors of Omar Hunter wavering on his Florida verbal after orginially pledging to ND, but he has signed with the Gators. Columbus Ohio's own Rodney Stewart of Brookhaven has signed an LOI to play for Colorado. |

Some other news of note:
Auburn beat out UM and others for RB Onterio McCaleb. Former OSU target Greg Shaw has signed with LSU. Julio Jones, widely considered the #1 WR in the nation has signed with the home schoo, Alabama. Bobby Petrino getting Joe Adams to stay home at Arkansas over USC is huge for that program. He is a Joe McKnight type talent and was committed to USC for most of the year. Scout's #1 RB Darrell Scott has signed with Colorado. They also signed two of the better LBs in the nation in Lynn Katoa and Jon Major. Clemson has had the best day today, in my opinion...stealing Dwayne Allen, signing Antoine McClaine and signing Jamie Harper were all huge lifts. Add that to a class that includes some heavy hitters and they probably finish with a top 5 class. Arkansas is another program that had a huge day...and Michigan finished nicely, although I think the writing is one the wall as far as Pryor is concerned and losing Nick Perry to USC stung. |
