Formation wise, I don't see the iso as a viable option against USC and they're great middle linebacker(Maualuga?). And we lost all our fullbacks which further weakens the iso as a viable option. I look for lots of 2 back sets and the occasional single back.

Defensively, who is gonna get the tough assignment of covering McNight out of the backfield? T. Moeler? ONeal? That will be a toughie.

I'm not to worried about Mcknight; he's got great speed, but our defense does a fine job taking away the outside runs.

Its the inside stuff I'm worried about; but I don't think we'll be seeing that from him.

It;s the dump offs in space to McNight that worries me. A missed tackle and he's gone! We need a sure tackler on him. And a guy who can pass cover.

The ones that take a while to develop don't worry me, however a quick dump can really wreak some havoc. If we're going man on man, who better than Freeman or Lil' Animal?

Unless you mean that he actually stepped out of bounds on that play and the refs missed it, that play is EXACTLY what I'm tlaking about. The defender overran and let him cut back, rather than stay on his inside hip and force him OOB.
