It is what it is, and please dont try and get me started. Please do not make something out of nothing more than a few games comparison. comparing games would be like comparing our games with illinoy. I dont do that because illinoy is a conf. game for osu not for SC. Trap game for osu but not for USC.

Actually, I did watch quite a few USC games last year. It's pretty easy in Ohio, since they're usually one of the marquee late games. I saw the UW, Stanford, ASU, 'Zona, and Oregon games. Granted, I was more interested in drinking and chatting at the time, but I'm not going off of stats alone.

'Noosh was responding to the comment that OSU is comparable to a mid-level Pac-10 team, like 'Zona, by pointing out that USC barely held on against those teams. Illinois finished second in the Big Ten. UW and Stanford finished at the bottom of the PAC-10, 'Zona 6th, and Cal (who USC only beat by a TD) 7th. Not very impressive for a team that was ranked #1 going into the season.

As far as Illinois, I agree that we "should" have beat them, but it certainly wasn't a gimme (obviously). Like I said, they finished second in a conference that had 9 bowl elligible teams. Outside of our two losses last year, there was only one game that was within one score.

Nah, infractions for something as tame as that would only be given on recruiting or current player threads, as far as I know. Anything I say is all in good fun. You're just not going to find many people on here who agree with you. I've enjoyed having you on here, you're basically keeping this thread going. I wish there were more reasonable USC fans like you on here to really get things rolling.

I did watch the USC games last season that I mentioned above. I had the fortune of signing up for Directv in August because of the Big Ten network having restrained viewing, and managed to get quite a good use of the DVR that came with it. I caught what I could of the SEC games on CBS, so I could watch who we might play in January, along with the late USC games. They had more experience last year, and still had a tendency to make silly mistakes against teams that were obviously outmatched talent-wise.

I am glad you got to watch those games, as I did as well. I dont assume people on the east coast stay up to watch a west coast game, thats all. And you call the mistakes they made silly, I am not so nice, they made alot of STUPID mistakes! The kind that can cost you a season, like it did. I watch the big 10 channel also. Good stuff. Most of the guys that made the mistakes are a year older, and I hope, more mature. Cant watch to much sec football, because the more I watch, the less impressed I get!

Sorry! But I have directv, and its included in the basic package. Not to rub it in ,wink wink, but its a pretty good channel.
