I happened to see this in the Wisconsin State Journal while on vacation this week. If you really wanted to get pumped and "lead your team to victory" , plan on going to this business seminar in July. I'll bet Coach Bret will get us fired up. . Personally, I find him overlly confident and egotistical. The Badgers may be a tough game this year for the Buckeyes. Just ask Bret.

When both teams play the attrition game, it comes right down to whose big uglies are bigger and meaner. Wisconsin will grind out a lot of wins using that strategy, but I think that last year's win was merely a matter of superior talent.

The writers might be overestimating the home field factor. Going back to 1993, the only victory they have against the Bucks in their place is the 2003 game. The two teams didn't meet four of those years, but that's still pretty significant I think.

He is a pretty damn good back,WHEN he is not hurt. Maybe if they didn't have to kill him up there he would last a little longer.

They're gonna have Lance Smith this time. Hopefully though, WE can pulverize him and show him what he did to his ex-girl, instead of him showing everyone what he did to his ex-girl. I'm going to try to head up for this game, depends if my friend is there that weekend. He told me student tickets are going to be super expensive. So gay, I asked if he can buy an extra one for that game when he gets his season tickets, he be like they don't sell single game seats for the student section. For those that go to OSU, is it the same way there at the Shoe?

The noise isn't a major concern after the places these guys played last year but Wiscy plays so much better at home and this is a talented Wiscy team to begin with. I think we win but I also think it'll be a battle.

The key for games in hostile environments is to shut the crowd up early. I've never been to Camp Randall for a game, but on the tube, it seems like one of the toughest venues in the Big Ten. Probably because by the time the Buckeyes come into town, the crowd has been drunk for 6 weeks straight. last year, we were able to quiet the Purdue and PSU crowds pretty early (UM fans didn't even bring their keys last year). Given that most of this year's team has played in about 5 "Game of the Centuries" already, I don't expect them to be intimidated by the crowds. Playing in Madison at night always makes me nervous, though. At least we don't have 3 F'n Big Ten night games this year.

Camp Randall is pretty loud, very hostile. I went to the Michigan-Wisconsin game in November (rooted for Wisconsin through the enemy of my enemy is my friend theory), the fans are always making noise during the game. And they try to harass fans from the enemy, especially if they don't wear red, b/c Beilma wants a red-out at every game. My friend told me once that some fan ripped a shirt off an NU fan and threw it out Camp Randall, but the po-po arrested him. As for the crowd being drunk, people in Madison are drunk everyday but Sunday. I got in at 9AM on gameday, and people were drinking already. And this is after a Friday night party where they are drinking till 2AM. Madison is one of the easiest places to get beer. My friend told me they don't even check for an ID, and he showed me.

A Michigan fan cut us off on the way to Camp Randall, so my friend kicked his car, and on the way there, he showed me his Appalachian State shirt, he was like he had been waiting 2 months to wear it. So after Wisconsin sealed the win in the 4th, he took off his Wisconsin hoodie, did a little dance and showed the App. State shirt to some Michigan fans, and was like, "HEY MICHIGAN, REMEMBER THIS!!??" Everyone then proceeded to chant "APP-AL-A-CHIAN". It was one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen.

I'm actually thinking about going to this game. A friend invited me and some others up for the game. I just don't know if I want to deal with thier moronic fans though. He did say though that if we came up and we won he'd pay for the gas there and back.

I think three B10 games are night games this year. albeit not all on the road....maybe that's ur point. sorry I'm probably wrong.
