Ohio State 20, Wisconsin 17 (Oct. 4)

This game actually worries me more than the USC game for a couple of reasons.
tOSU plays to the level of competition that they're playing out of conference. I think they'll win @ USC. But Wisconsin obviously knows how to play them and they have a lot of experience as well.
Hope tOSU are truly ready for both of these games!

This team this year has a mission and I think they'll understand that Wisconsin is a quality team and you have to take their crowd out early.... It should be an interesting game but I see the Bucks winning by 14 or 10...

I'm sure at some point before the game, Tressel will have the team watch the 03 game to give them a frame of reference (if he hasn't already). I hope to God the weather isn't as nasty as it was that year. The UW game will probably be the most physical game of the year, definitely a gut check game. We've got the better team on paper, but UW always has strong lines on both sides. The crowd will have an impact, agree that taking them out early will be key. If we can contain Beckum, handle the ground game, and shake up the rookie QB, we should be in good shape.

I think our strengths on offense match up well with their weaknesses on D and vice-versa. They don't have the speed to keep up with Pryor, Beanie, and Boom and our small DL(Gibson 250 lbs, Worthington 280 lbs, Heyward 285 lbs, Wilson 260 lbs) could be in for a long night against their huge OL and power running game. Could see a lot more Larimore and Denlinger this game.

Wisconsin is an average football team. Their offense sucks...bad. Without Beckum and their other TE healthy the Buckeyes should beat them soundly. Wisconsin was handed manymany gifts and could not do anything with them.

I like their DL and Casillas but their other LBers and DBs are susceptable to the pass. Michigan could not do anything till they started throwing the ball.

everige(sp) sucks!!!! Attack this guy and he will throw int's. If we don't beat these guys by double digits I will be disappointed.

We will probably use a bigger D-line this game. Wiscy's new QB is not equal to last years. Not as good a passer or runner. Wiscy has had lots of trouble defending the spread.

On a neutral field, yes. But we always seem to struggle at Camp Randall.

I will expect us to gash them with the option plays out of different formations, but I will also expect the unexpected (bad) to happen as well.

A win is a win for me on this one.

It would be really cool to see our front seven shut down their running game, though.

Forget Pryor, didn't Beanie have 3 second-half TDs against these guys? I'm thinking we just run the ball all day and maybe mix in a little playaction here and there. My kind of a football game.

Wiscy loves to run the roll out to the left where Evridge can pass it or run. The DEs need to keep contain on the outside to prevent this.

Their QB is a much better runner than last years, but obviously struggles passing the ball.. I hope to see a ton more of our bigger front 7 this week because if not Clay, Hill, and whoever else will be running all over the field.


Our defense is the key. Can we step up and actually put up a great game??? I'm talking no obvious gashing runs up the middle, and no stupid screen passes going for 30 yards (and also taking on a facemask). I just wanna see us line up and smash them in the face. I want to see more Williams at End thats for sure. He reminds me of a faster Kudla. Pryor/Beanie will do what they want with Wisconsin, but I expect this game to be a 28-17 game with Wisconsin getting a decent amount of yards (maybe even outgain us)

Wisconsin has absolutely nobody on the perimeter and this QB is not a very good thrower

If we sit back and dont get after this guy and dont put extra men in the box to stuff the run.. Im gonna pull my hair out
