Ohio State 45, Michigan State 7 (Oct. 18)
The first trip to East Lansing to face Sparty under Dantonio.

Every year the game against Sparty worries me. This year, on the road for the Bucks, is no different.

I know that Wisky at night in Camp Randall is going to be a hard game... but this game seems like a trap. Though we dominated most of the game last year, they were still in it with those Boekman ints. I know Tressel's teams seem not to overlook any team.. but my most depressing day as a Buckeye fan occurred 10 yrs ago when our loaded team went up against Sparty... and Plexico (and some mistakes) dismantled our NC hopes. I sat in shock/horror in block o (closed end) with my cousin, who at the time was a student at MSU.
I'm just hoping history does not repeat itself here.

I hear you. This matchup is only gong to get harder, the longer Coach D has to build his program. Good thing for us is they lost some key players from 07, Caulcrick and St. Dic, most notably. Hoyer will be a question mark until he proves otherwise. They would have won their bowl game if it weren't for him. He was terrible in the 4th. Shutting down the running game didn't seem to hard last year, so I would expect the same. Could be a close game, but our guys are just too f'n good, and they will be battle tested by that time. I do envision MSU to be one of the toughest teams in the conference in the near future.

They gave us fits last year at home. What would make anyone believe we are "too good" not to be given fits again? They will be ready for us.
