More greatness from LSUFreek, referencing the fact that people in MAC-Land were cut away from the thrilling finale of the Miami/BGSU upset to see Ohio St pants Sparty.

Just wanted to come on and 'congratulate' the bucks on an impressive performance. MSU needed A LOT of things to go right, and virtually nothing did, and they seemed a bit psyched out to me as well.
At least Cousins looked very good, Hoyer really has dissapointed, right from the first airmail pass to start the game it was obvious he wasn't going to do jack [censored]. Go get PSU this Saturday guys, and we'll try to take care of uOFm. ![]() And if you don't give a damn about the whole state of Michigan is it OK if we take that recruit who just committed to you guys... And Gholston's little bro? Just asking? ![]() Yeah the old zeke was still around last year I think, he was going blind, and had an awfully grey beard. |

I think Zeke(s) would enjoy a longer career if they didn't practice on carpeted concrete.

So, I'm watching the game for the 5th or 6th time, and this is what I want to see from OSU. Specifically, I think the team turned the corner in this game. Here's the sequence: OSU's up by 7, MSU has the ball, and is driving, then, all of a sudden, Coleman forces a fumble, which Washington returns to the 17. Three straight runs by Beanie get it into the endzone, but a questionable chop-block call takes it back to the 21. This is precisely where the ofense would stall and settle for a FG. But, TP picks up a good shunk on a run, TP hits Robo for 3, and then TP finds Robo in the endzone on a great pass.
MSU possession: Ringer stopped for two yards (JL). Incomplete pass with great coverage. 3rd down, MSU tries a screen, which Abdalah reads perfectly, and Jenkins was covering, for a loss. Play of the game. Small makes a nice PR. Next play: Pryor to Hartline for 56, and just dhort of a TD. Beanie on the punch in. 21-0 Buckeyes. That's the game, right there. Great D, explosive O, Buckeyes in control. The thing I love is the passion that the team showed on D and O. The Abdallah play was huge. It got the sideline fired up, and they were dominant from there on out. That, IMO. is the key to the season, so far. It's 8 weeks into the season, and our tem is hitting on all cylinders. If thery can match it, the future looks btight. Go Buckeyes! Beat Penn State!!! |

i was very happy that they went for the kill on the pass to hartline. that is vintage JT, but for some reason we haven't gone to it much this year.

We've gone for the kill a few times: Saine vs. UW (INT), that Robo where he one armed it, Small when he was out of bounds in the endzone, blah, blah ,blah. But that hartline pass was awesome. I can't believe he landed on his feet. Let TP throw the long ball.

Just want to say that Coleman's INT at the end of the 1st half at MSU was amazing. Just a great play. It was like Jeeter diving itno the stands, or that play at home plate. Coleman had no reason to be in that spot, but he was there. He's having a great season.
