So who returns punts? I'm guessing Hartline will still be back there to block... any chance we see Flash get an opportunity? I think we opened with Harline and Robo, which wasn't very effective.
Here's hoping we see one of the younger guys (Sanzo, Posey, Flash) step up at WR with the increased playing time that's now available. |

I'd like to see Hartline and Posey back there returning punts. But what the hell do I know? Get out of evanston injury free and with a W, at this point that's all that truly matters. ![]() |

So the weather forcast is for 30 MPH sustained winds. Rain and snow mix. I'm not sure who this helps, or what is going to happen. But i've always said bad weather helps the home team and the underdog. Well...I hope that isn't true, because it's going to be nasty tomorrow.
I'm not sure what to expect tomorrow. Anybody who questions my love or faith in the Buckeyes, obviously doesn't usually read my posts. But I'm not sure what kind of team we are going to see tomorrow. Two weeks to sit on this loss could do a number of good and bad things to this team. We don't play well on the road off of bye weeks. I was there at Northwestern the last time we had a bye week before going there, and it wasn't pretty. Northwestern has huge holes at tailback. Their backup QB can run the ball...but i'm still not sure how much he's going to play. But what are we on offense? I mean it's like you never know what you are going to get with this team on offense. Our defense has been damn great! One of my favorite Ohio State defenses ever. But how are they going to respond after playing their hearts out, and it still not being enough against Penn State. It's got to be frustrating. You want to see how good of a coach Jim Tressel is? Watch how this team plays in the first half. See if they are ready. See if the lines are dominating, or not. They should be. Our lines should dominate this game. If they aren't, then something isn't right. We better played fired up football. This is the first time in a long time that we haven't had the Big Ten Championship in our own hands. I've always believed that just being a Buckeye is enough to want to play for. And I feel like that's the type of guys Ohio State should be recruiting. Guys who realize that being a Buckeye is enough reason to play 100% all the time. That's the type of players that I think Tressel has recruited. Play for being able to wear the same uniform that guys like Tatum, Speilman, George, Horvath, Gradishar, Harly, Speilman, Stillwagon, Janowicz, Cassady, Griffin. Didn't matter Ohio State's record. It didn't matter the score of the game. Those players always played hard no matter what. They knew what it meant to be a Buckeye. Come on guys. This is Northwestern. They are soft. You aren't. You came hear to play football and play hard. Being a Buckeye means sooooooo much more than being a Wildcat. SHOW THAT ON THE FIELD TOMORROW!!! Oh...and 15 days until The Game!!! GO BUCKS!!!! Quote:

For any of you who happened to be in town tonight and were listening to ESPiN radio (AM1000) here in town, I'd like to say I'm sorry for my 'home town' evening drive guys.
They started talking smack on the suspension tonight. Citing a bunch of spew put forth by one suspended player's father (henceforth known as "He who can SUCK IT.") They mentioned a few of the off field issues we've had this year as well. But, here's what gets me. The same SOB who was talking crap about our guys was singing the [censored]ing praises of Noel Devine a couple of weeks ago. If he only knew... If I wasn't 25 miles out of down town (and had not recieved word that my watch was back from the watchsmith -- been in since Aug 26 -- and my new keg was in -- completely blowing foam from the keg-o-rator), I'd have driven downtown and punched that fat SOB Dan McNeil in his [censored]ing pie hole. He also mentioned how he thought that Ball State would be a top 2 team in the B10 this year. Piece of [censored] Dan McNeil. Sooooooooo... since I'm not going to be at the game (I'll be home with a couple of sick kids) if anyone happens to see this fat piece of [censored] in E-town on Saturday, feel free to punch him right in the [censored]ing jaw and tell 'em it's from me. I've already had to change radio stations once here in Chicago because my evening drive hosts had contract issues... now I think I'm going to have to go back to the ipod on the evening drive. [censored] ESPiN, [censored] Chicago radio and [censored] NWU and the purple [censored]ing horse that rode in on them. (yeah, the new keg is good) PS. Getting out of Chicagoland w/o anyone getting hurt and one in the W column will be a huge let down for me. I'd like to see tOSU +35. For just getting my watch back and having a fresh keg, I'm in a [censored]y [censored]ing mood after hearing Fat Man McNeil AND not being able to go to the game. I need to see our Bucks frick'n destroy NWU. Thank you for your time. |
