Honestly, one of my favorite plays of the night was the little screen or delayed pass (lob ) over the top Pryor had to Beanie early in the game that went for big yards. Those kind of plays keep teams off balance. No reason this team can't do exactly what you're saying Buckeyefrankmp. I hope we see it next year. |

How is that Colt's fault? He led a great drive to win the game.
It's a matter of america's attention span, imo. Bradford did not outplay Colt head to head and didn't distance himself from Colt over the course of the season. But he played his bigger games later, and folks forgot about what the longhorn offense accomplished early on. Oklahoma also had the luxury of playing Texas Tech at home. Texas played them in Lubbock, where they also beat Oklahoma State, Kansas, and Oklahoma last season. Out of sight, out of mind for the texas votes. |

I think the result of this Fiesta Bowl could be good in the same manner the 2002 Outback Bowl heart breaker set up the national title run. It is scary to think what Pryor could become with a full off season to focus on his footwork, mechanics, and film study, as opposed to moving into a protracted basketball season and doing all those other things he did in high school that distracted from his becoming a great passer. |

Just commenting on being saturated with the incessant "this time we are really motivated" talk from the outgoing group I guess. |

that's fine, I'm just trying to figure out how you're laying this at Terrelle's feet (when he and Todd took the lead), or comparing his comments/attitude to possible lipservice by others.

I used exactly 4. Does that make it a push?

This is a good transition statement for this program. Boone, representing the past three years, feels vindicated in a LOSS where Pryor, representing the future, is not satisfied with a loss. I don't think Boone had that winning attitude to get us over the top. Hopefully Pryor will take the leadership role on this team and get the rest of the team to not be satisfied with moral victories.

I hear ya. Look on the bright side ... baseball season camps are just six weeks away, so at least you have the distraction of 'this year being the year the Reds focus on playing fundamentally sound baseball' to look forward to, instead of the hollow lip-service from the Buckeyes.
