I really didn't give him much of a chance given his skill set, but his progession over the past two seasons is undeniable. He has certainly turned into one of the best quarterbacks in the nation and I give him credit for that. There is now doubt the McCoy we will face in January is a completely different football player than the one we saw in 06'. For our sake I hope he reverts back to his prior self, but I'm not holding my breath. He will play well and for us to be successful, making him uncomfortable is an absolute necessity. If our front seven give him time to throw he has proven the ability to give opponents a long night of torture.

After the '06 game McCoy developed well that year, and had Texas in position for a possible rematch with tOSU until he got a concussion on the goal line running a QB sneak against Kansas State. That led to the Texas losses in that game and against aTm, which allowed Oklahoma to win the Big 12.
