Oh man what a great bowl match up. Its almost a tie breaker from the regular season games we split. Texas is very, very good. A better all around team then USC IMO. Hopefully Tressell fixes what ever went wrong with our last two bowl games or this one could get "USC" ugly. Lets hope Beanie is healthy and we use him and dont stop using him like we did against LSU. I hope all this practice before the big game will help Pryor take it to the next level. I cant wait!

I love this matchup... Texas struggled a bit with Baylor who IMO was the biggest mobile QB threat to them... I don't think Texas has played a defense as tough as Ohio State's. Ohio State hasn't played an offense as explosive as Texas. This is one of the most intriguing matchups I've seen so far. Interested in the MSU-UGA game too!

Someone else said it here that this is an opportunity for the B10 to reprieve itself as these matchups are not friendly.

Sadly, I'm doubtful there'll be much for the B10 to celebrate this year.

Why? Do you see Iowa losing to South Carolina? I sure don't... I actually like MSU's chances against Georgia.. And Ohio State against Texas is certainly a good matchup that could go either way. The Penn State game on the other hand... Eh... Yikes.

So, we don't get to actually play for the NC this year - as our team set out to do. Instead we get to play a team that arguably should be playing for the NC and has a chip on its shoulder.

Same challenge - just less potential reward.

Give me a day or two to sort out my excitement level on this one.
