Actually, Brogdon played PG in the Farrell game. He handles the ball very well, but he normally plays shooting guard because of his shooting ability. He is athletic enough to play SF at, like you said, the high school level. In fact, in the first four games, Warren Harding has started Brogdon, Desmar Jackson, and Fred Williams, all of whom are guards, while rotating Chris Henderson (6'8), Damien Eargle (6'8), and Elijah Jordan (6'5) throughout the game, mainly to establish a fast tempo. If Harding uses a big lineup, Williams, who is a sophomore, will come off the bench to allow the other big man to start. With the exception of Williams. all of the players listed above have Division 1 offers. If Williams keeps playing at the level that he's playing at, he'll be on his way to receiving more attention as well. Maybe not from Ohio State, but schools will be watching him as he continues to develop.
FWIW, Jackson, a 6'5 player who is ranked as Ohio's top basketball prospect for the class of 2009, is Warren Harding's starting point guard. He did not play in the Farrell game, which is why Brogdon did most of the ball handling.
Also, I should mention the fact that on Saturday, January 12, 2008, Warren Harding will play Zanesville at Ohio State's Value City Arena. I know that Ohio State has their eye on a couple of Harding's players, so hopefully they can continue to establish some consistancy as they head into the new year. Ofcourse, everybody can't go to Ohio State just because they are good, but it will be a great opportunity for the players to showcase their talents in Columbus. Last year, Eargle & Henderson had solid performances against Canton Glen Oak, who was led by current
OSU freshman Kosta Koufos.
