Not sure how much in the game we are here...But I would love to land McDonald...I would have him number one on my list in terms of guards...

The Vols staff was in attendance at a recent holiday tournament. McDonald will not name a top five but Tennessee, North Carolina, Memphis and Duke are associated with McDonald according to sources.

Rumors were going around that McDonald was close to verballing to UNC but he says that is not true and Duke, North Carolina, Indiana, Georgetown, Ohio State, Memphis and Tennessee are all equal at this point.

McDonald is currently listing North Carolina, Duke, Memphis, Tennessee, Ohio State and Georgetown. McDonald has taken Indiana off his list. He wants to take visits to UNC, Duke, Ohio State and Georgetown.

He's getting a ton of pressure to stay in-state...
Duke is after him very hard... UNC seems to want him, but they haven't been recruiting him as hard as UT and Duke (his supposed top two according to those close to him)...

McDonald was impressed by his visit to Tennessee. Coaches from UNC, Duke, Tennessee and Georgetown have attended his games recently and he has been talking to Ohio State. Indicates he wants to take additional visits and maybe make a decision before his senior year.
