There really hasnt been much discussion on 09' prospects, and that is mainly b/c we don't have that many schollies, we will have either 1 or 2 to give out...

I think Thad would like a PF/C type and probably a PG.

I think right know his main targets would be Kenny and Cousins...Both are highly ranked and down south guys and he will have his hands ful trying to bring them in...

There are others like Jackson, Van Tresse, and Williams, but I would think the top 2 are the ones that he is after the most...

Boynton has been on a tear so far this AAU season. Ohio State, Georgia Tech, Villanova, Florida, Kansas State, UConn, Florida State and Miami are recruiting him hard at this stage. Mentions that Florida was his dream school but that he has started to look at other schools. No timetable for a decision.

Several sources have confirmed Kenny Boynton Jr., who led the Tigers to the 6A title as a 15-year-old sophomore, withdrew from Ely on Monday morning and will be looking at other options within the coming week.

Speculation is that Boynton, a 6-2 guard, could end up at either Oak Hill Academy in Virginia or Plantation American Heritage, where Boynton could join forces with Team Breakdown AAU teammates Eloy Vargas, a 6-10 forward, and Ray Taylor, a 5-6 point guard who helped lead Miami Pace to the 4A title last season.
