I agree.

I do not like our chances based on proximity alone, normally, but this one has some "special" factors going our way.

Should prove to be interesting.

If this class continues to shake out in the scenario it now looks like, we could add 3-5 committments in the near future. Most of the class could be lined up before the season starts. If the staff truly values Adams as intregal to this class, they would have an unprecedented amount of time and recources to pull out all the stops for Corey. It could be quite the luxury to not be spread out in the recruitment of three-quarters of the class from fall onward. Of course, USC could be in much the same position by that time.

By A Jardy at the Ohio State site. Adams plans to narrow down things by the end of summer and says the Buckeyes are very high on his list. The fact that the coaches talk with him so much, and that they were in on him early has made a big impact on Corey.

Haha, he's probably bigger than half of the NFL's starting MLBs.

I'd love to see some clips of him playing MLB. That would be entertaining.

I'd imagine he's bigger than all NFL starting middle linebackers. Though he'd fit right in at South Carolina where 2 of their 3 starting linebackers are at least 270lbs.

FWIW DT Todd Denlinger also spent time at MLB his senior season of HS...it is much harder to avoid running at him

Levon Kirkland played at 275+. Not srue about current players.

Corey is on my top 3 most wanted recruit list but I am not really getting great vibes from him. He seems to be a bit more excited when he talks about USC and seems to be way closer to their coaching staff.

If he visits, you guys have a chance. OSU has his attention, but SC is definitely the leader in the clubhouse. You'll have to have something that stands out for him to move out to the Midwest for the next four years of his life.
