Not necessarily the right thread, but I've heard Hall could commit before his senior season begins also. If he and Berry both commit in August, we could concievably be down to 1 spot left with 6 months to go.

I agree with you that Adams would be the #1 priority and we should be able to devote a lot of time and resources to recruiting him. Maybe the coaching staff could stop by Arizona on the way back from LA after a big win (hopefully) to show Corey the love.

Agree, I think he's ours if he comes...and I think he will. Pryor, one could make a case, came in spite of his coach. Plus, Corey and his dad are big time fans, away from home for so long. Some of us know what that is. You either get suckered in, more or less, and leave camp altogether, or your resolve gets even stronger and you become obsessed...in a good way.

Besides, every recruiting class needs 3 Corey's.

A win over USC on 9/13/08 + getting Adams on campus= Corey in the S&G!
And to seal the deal have a Pete Carroll look-a-like egg his house and car. Sounds like a recipe for a guaranteed commitment to me.

Lets hope we dont get tied up in this silly "we need our class filled by September" stuff.. and we recruit the heck out of this kid..

I feel like the staff is so eager to finish the 09 class, that they would settle for a lesser player, if that player wanted to commit soon.. i hope I'm wrong

There's a reason why the staff is trying to wrap up recruiting before the season opener. I trust the staff...

Not me. I'm sitting here at my computer reading all the threads and watching some clips and it's clear that I know far more than any staff knows. The staff is not nearly as diligent about reading the boards/tea leaves as me...they need to get a clue.

I personally think we hold at least one spot for a player like Adams. I think we will have to recruit 3 players during the season: Hall, Berry, and Adams. Maybe Sims or Hageman. However, 3-4 players is hardly going to take any time away from the staff. I have no doubt they continue to pursue Adams.

If i had my choice based on need and talent it would be Berry, Hall, Adams and Sims in that order. I think we have a good shot at all 4. It's interesting the talent that maybe left out of this class (Watt, Muldoon, Vlad etc.).

Watt wasnt left out, he just wanted to go somewhere else. Muldoon's isnt left out either. Hes had an offer since April and may just not want to come to OSU. Vlad may be a different story and its ood to hear that the lines of communication have opened back up.
