He doesn't even mention QB in this statement, you gotta love: "Probably running back, receiver, safety or corner," Marc said. "I kind of fit into those four positions, I can catch, run or throw? do whatever you want me to do."

Marc is a good athlete and hopefully we find room for him. He shows a capable arm but his mechanics are just really poor. He needs to work on his release and step into his throws. Can't blame him that much though, considering the heat was on him every play. In the end I think Marc better be able to play another position that QB though.

Says that he really enjoyed his visit to Ohio State (spring game), and is pretty confident of receiving a scholarship offer from tOSU. He is not sure what position he is being recruited to play but its probably gonna be RB or DB. Ranks tOSU "very high" on his list!

It's times like these that I don't envy the OSU staff... It's so hard to be objective when evaluating kids like these that love OSU... Obviously I hope he gets an offer, I love that type of player. If anything they help inspire those around them, and that is worth a lot... They tend to be the hardest workers, pushing everyone around them, etc...

don't know his level of competition but the main thing that sticks out to me is "separation" which could translate to many positions, namely wide receiver.

ESPN 150 Watch List prospect Victor Marc (Hallandale, Fla.) is one of the better athletes in the 2009 class whom no one is talking about.

The multifaceted prospect's versatility is perhaps the underlying factor in his national recruiting obscurity. Last season at Dr. Krop High School, Marc was employed as a dual-threat quarterback in a zone-read system, and his stats were far from eye-popping. The talented athlete threw for just over 800 yards on about 10 pass attempts per game while adding close to 500 yards on the ground. Solid numbers, but not enough to attract major recruiting attention in the early going, at least not as a college quarterback prospect.

Regardless of stats and notoriety, the skills we observed on film from the dynamic signal-caller were impressive enough to garner an Under Armour All-America invitation as early as February. Marc's playmaking ability and striking initial speed on film are rare qualities. When you factor in his chiseled 210-pound frame, we saw the exciting makeup of a highly-productive Division I player -- regardless of position. Marc shows all the physical skills to succeed at tailback, and a supreme blend of size, speed and athleticism to potentially play linebacker, strong safety or even remain at quarterback with continued polish.

Although he says he is open to playing anywhere in college, deep down, quarterback is the position Marc favors.

"I feel I can take over the game at quarterback," Marc said. "I can throw on the run, in the pocket or tuck it and go.

"I think I can make throws and plays other quarterbacks can't."

From the South Carolina site...has recent offers from Rutgers, Wisconsin, Boston College, USF and West Virginia. Thinks OSU could be offering this week. Open to all schools and open to playing any position. Talks about his interst in the Gamecocks, who are recruiting him as a RB.

congrats to Victor on his new offers. Maybe a little 'blow up' going on for the young man. Hope he's right about OSU offering this week. I'm not much into breaking down tape...but it's hard not to like what this kid can do carrying the football.
