With 10 other LBs who will be around come 2009 (Spitler, Homan (Ross), Gibson, Johnson, Rolle, Sabino, and Sweat already on board, and Whiting, Klein, and Homan (Adam) committed) it may be tough to find room for him. If Gibson stays down at DE and doesn't move back to LB, and Adam Homan plays FB vice LB, then Branko may have a shot...

Yea true, but Osu will take 1 more or maybe 2 more linebackers for 09. The funny thing is that this kids a stud and we are only starting to talk about him because he hasn't had much hype. Him, SNook, Scott, Denicos allen, dan fox and ferrel are who I want filling in those last two spots. I think someone who I didn't put down there is way overrated.

Branko is a great LB and could play FB if the staff wants to keep Homan on D. I would love to see this kid get an offer. He has good size and deceptive speed and will hit you.

Branko is a beast. I would love to see OSU pick him up this year and snag QB Dwight Macon next year!

With a name like Branko Busick, how could he not be an incredible FB and LB??? It's destiny. Now, he just needs to become known as Bruising Buckeye Branko Busick.

Just to keep everyone updated on Branko...
He did very well at this past weekend's state tournament.
He took third place in Division II. His only loss was in the championship semifinals, when he lost 3-2 to eventual state champion Matt Fisher. It came down to a very controversial call, which I didn't think was a takedown, that won the match for Fisher.
Branko beat several of Ohio's best 215-pounders, including Dave Pickerel, Thomas Taylor and Logan Erb.
It is my personal opinion that Fisher (a senior) and Branko were the two best wrestlers in a very stacked weight class and, if those two guys wrestled 10 times, the matches would be split 5-5.
Branko will be the favorite to win the state title next year.
As for football, Ohio State HAS to look at Brank. He is an animal out there. Whether it be linebacker or fullback, he has the strength, size, speed, athleticism and work ethic to succeed in either spot.
If he slips through the cracks and ends up at PSU, Iowa or Illinios, the Bucks are going to regret it.
