Just watched his film and my thoughts:
Moves extremely well laterally, great closing speed, shoots the gap wonderfully, great athleticism, and has a knack for big plays. He is undersized but I wouldn't rule out LB...remind me of Rolle quite a bit. Extremely impressed with Telfort and I think he can play safety or LB. If he was a bit bigger, he would probably be a 5 star. |

I'm saying that I think Frankie is mistaken in that the spring game is what they were here for so far, only, and have not as yet, participated in a 7on7 in Columbus, that's all. I am aware that they have participated together in 7on7 elsewhere...but, just not in Columbus. |

June 10, 2008 Clemson Making Push For Miami Backer By Phil Kornblut LB Frankie Telfort (5-11 205) of Miami is a highly recruited prospect with 32 offers right now including Clemson and USC. Clemson is working him pretty hard while he said he's not hearing that much from USC. "Clemson is really interested," Telfort said. "Coach Blackwell has been calling my coach a lot, and he visited the school during the spring." Telfort said he'll narrow his list later in the summer and all the schools are equal. "I'm looking at the academics and whether pre-med or medical school is attached to the school," he said. Telfort will not attend any camps though he said he might go to Florida's Friday Night Lights camp as a specator. Among his other offers are Rutgers, Alabama, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Oregon, Southern Cal, Notre Dame, LSU, Florida and West Virginia. Last season Telfort had 66 tackles, four forced fumbles and two recovered fumbles in just half a season. He missed half the campaign with a torn ligament in his right thumb. |

I know this has been joked about quite a bit recently, but this one really hit me in the funny bone. |
