He would play next year at Clemson. They are losing much of the WR depth.

Boyd Gets Feel For Clemson At Camp
By Phil Kornblut
WR Jheranie Boyd (6-3 185) of Gastonia, NC camped at Clemson Wednesday thru today and left with his impression of the Tigers intact. "Clemson might have a little edge," Boyd said. "It's just the relationship I have with the coaches, Napier, Swinney and Bowden. And I was having fun with the recruits like JK (Jay) and (Malliciah) Goodman. We are real good friends. (A decision) might be sooner than I thought it was, but I still want to visit some places." Boyd said USC, North Carolina and NC State are tied for second on his list. He will camp at North Carolina next Friday. Boyd has cut his list to 15 and plans to cut it further by the end of the month.

I think it's safe to say we have little chance with Jheranie. I thinks he's going to commit to Clemson soon rather than later. He mentioned nothing of TOSU in that article. Location seems to be a big factor in his decision. I had heard that out of all the big name out of state kids Jheranie had the most interest or we had the best chance at landing him. I don't see us landing Brown or Evans either. Brown will stay in the south probably Tenn. and Evans will go somewhere on the west coast Probably UCLA. We don't really recruit the west that well. I think green who's being recruited as an athlete will play WR and will be our final WR in this class. Other than that I think we are done with WR unless there is an in state kid deserving of an offer or the staff decides to offer appleton.

I forgot to mention Debose out of florida. Out of Brown, Boyd, and Evans we probably have the best shot at him. However i think it's small and doubtful to happen. However Green is no consolation prize and i would take him anyday and be happy.

Is this just your opinion or do you have anything to back it up?
