Does that mean it was a close game by their standards? |

That's called putting a positive spin on their points production! I won't try to predict the final score, but it would be great to see 21 points in each quarter of the first half. After that anything goes.

Now a 43.5 favorite....how/why was this game even scheduled? How does scheduling an opponent like this contribute in any way to this football program? Seems like a lose-lose situation to me.
What if they don't cover the spread? What if a key player(s) get hurt? What if this causes a let-down/lose our "edge" for next weeks game against PSU? |

I'd rather have them on the schedule than a bye week.
#1 It gives our guys someone other than ourselves to hit while working on improving for the tough November we have coming up, yet still affords us the chance to rest those players who may need to get healthy for the stretch run too. #2 It's Ohio State Football! I'll take it any time, anywhere, against anyone over a bye. ![]() Looking forward to a Saturday afternoon woodshed woopin! |

As much as I like watching the Buckeyes, an extra week to get ready for PSU would be ok with me.

I think playing 'game speed' on Saturday is a better way to get ready for State Penn than a Bye week...

That could also happen during practice After Purdue, do you really think that would happen? |
