New Mexico St 0, tOSU 45 (Oct 31, Noon ET, BTN)
The Aggies are a rare late-season non-conference opponent.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say "BOOOOOOO". Then again, I'll still watch it.

CFN picks NM St as the worst of the 120 FBS teams.
This stat is telling: Average yards per carry: Opponents 5.2 - New Mexico State 2.1 CFN Quote:

I believe someone is confused about which team we're playing? These Aggies(NMSU) clearly suck! But they need the money!
http://www.nmstatesports.com/ViewArt...ATCLID=3638596 Now UNM would have been interesting with Locksley(from Illinois) as head coach. |

Taos is in the area, maybe he can give them some munchies.

This is just too perfect...
All season long, opposing fans will bring snacks to NMSU games and taunt the Aggies with them. They visit The 'Shoe on Halloween. Trick or Treat Aggies. |

If CFN's unit rankings are any indication, the Aggies are going to wish they'd spent Halloween in Athens instead of Columbus. I mean, if you're going to travel that far to get hammered, you might as well do it at a big party.
According to CFN, NMSU has:

Is this the first or second part of a home/home game? Why are we playing them?
Edit: I just figured out why we're paying them. Having them come out pays their athletic budget (munchies included) for a year. Last edited by muffler dragon; 08-17-2009 at 03:15 PM. |

I think this game is such a big waste of time in the middle of the year. We'll probably go pretty deep into the line-up, but I'd hate to lose anyone to any type of injury that late in the season for a meaningless game.

Just goes to show how large the discrepancy is between the FBS haves and the FBS have-nots.
"Welcome to Ohio State, where we make it rain 24/7 and have the best of everything and it's awesome all the time. As if that doesn't make you feel salty enough, for 60 minutes we're going to beat you senseless with our bench warmers in front of more people than you've ever seen in one place. Good luck!" Edit: Now that I think about it, the Horseshoe can accommodate roughly 5% of the entire population of New Mexico. Last edited by rocketman; 08-17-2009 at 02:39 PM. |

I don't think there was any chance this game was going to be late enough to cut in to trick or treat time.
