There was a lot of commotion in the very back corner of the spacious Campus Recreation Center building on Sunday afternoon. The reason? It was Weatherspoon bending the rims in the 15 and under championship game.
The 6-foot-6 forward dominated on the big stage and there was not a player on the floor that could stop his athleticism and strength in the paint.

This kid can jump out the gym. I saw a few Northland games and walked away more impressed with him then Moore and Sullinger.

Right now he is a tweener for the high major level...He has more of the game for PF level, but is only about 6'6''...
He will get the looks due to who he plays with, but right now I put Sullinger and Payne ahead of him in terms of players on the AAU team in the post...

Not really in the Ohio state system he is going to need to step out and hit the jumper...Right now he doesn't really do that...I would take Payne over him right now...
Now a disclaimer would be if he could develop a SF game with his frame and athleticism he could be a big time prospect...

Totally agree. Nice to hear that a local kid is doing well but I did not see him getting an offer from Ohio State. We are very very tight on scholarships for 09-10.
