Early July Hoops Update.........Price is described as raw with a motor that never quits. The key word for him is potential down the road......if he develops he could be an elite player in the 2011 class.

Some may disagree, but I'd like to see the 3rd 11 offer ( besides Behanan and Teague who appear to be superstars in the making ) go to Price.

We could use the "leg up" of an early offer to try to break the St Eds jinx ( or whatever has the coach and players there turned off to us ). Plus I'm sick of losing in-state big men to MSU and others. I think it's worth the gamble on a tall guy who has a big upside. This is the kind of risk I'd like to see taken! Good to hear he likes us already too.

I kinda agree here...I think the staff will wait a little to see how the 10' class plays out...

We could end up looking at 4 guys in the 2011 class depending on who leaves early and who stays...

I would look for a PG/Wing/PF/C type class...

Now that Behanan has verballed to UC, I'd be even more inclined to see an offer made to Price. I'd hate to lose what may end up being the two best! I can see waiting on offers to G's in this class, but a long big with potential needs early attention IMO!
