Good stuff. As electric as he is with the ball in his hands, might as well get it in his hands as much as possible.

Keep an eye on this. Any school that offers him at QB could have an edge.

Marvin Robinson is for sure a FS at UM. If you read the thread, Carr recruited him, RichRod is just keeping him warm. Bear in mind; Marvin is only 15. '10 FL S Marvin Robinson (Michigan Verbal) |

Video from Scoutingohio.com
Video is mostly him throwing the ball, which is impressive. Be interesting to see if UC or UM could lure him with the promise of initially being a quarterback. He could be dynamic in Brian Kelly's offense--assuming Kelly would be there long enough to use him.

Ware doesn't look bad throwing the ball and throws a nice deep ball. I wish the film showed his running ability more. You can tell he has nice lateral movement and all reports indicate he can fly, I'd just like to see it put together on film on a big run or two.

Not sure any big time school would offer him as a QB though except maybe WVU. Remember Orhian Johnson picked us to play DB over QB at Indiana or USF b/c that's where his pro potential lies. I think playing the pro potential card for Ware might work out since it's definitely at RB and not QB.

I went to the Princeton/Moeller game at Nipert Stadium last night, and I must say Ware is a special player. His passing game was not spot on, he tended to throw behind WRs on crossing routes, but he did have a perfect TD pass to Duckworth that hit him in stride on the left sideline. There were also some very catchable throws that were dropped by the WRs. His running ability is very impressive. He's a thick 200+lbs, but has the nimbleness of a Darren Sproles type RB. There were several plays where he managed to weave thru multiple defenders and was able to run out of arm tackles. On one play, he trucked a safety head on and kept going. I hope OSU takes a good look at him. He will probably be considered too short to play QB (although his build is very similar to Troy Smith), but could be an excellent RB.

Hearing from a couple of places that Spencer has been offered...
EDIT: Looks like Dave Berk at Scout is reporting it as well... Last edited by OSUBucks22; 09-09-2008 at 08:48 AM. |

Originally, I was hoping for an offer for both Ware and Howard, but given Howard's situation, I'll settle for just Spencer to be offered. This is great news indeed. Confirmed...?
