From the OSU site...comments on his visit to OSU for the PSU game...says he is not as interested in playing QB at the next level because of his height. Would like to play baseball in college as well.

I can confirm that Spencer Ware, for family reasons, has transfered to Colerain High School.

No immediate comment was given regarding his eligibility status, but expect to see Spencer playing baseball for the Cardinals this spring and Football in the fall.

to be honest, I don't even know. My guess is he'll play DB and WB/WR...Ware has said he doesn't want to play QB in college and being in Colerain's run oriented offense would certainly show off his abilities as a primary ball carrier.

the head coach at Colerain tonight was asked if the 'rumor' was true (it has been speculated Ware was coming for a few weeks) and all he could say was 'I can't confirm it or deny it'...I'll have more on Wednesday.

Colerain was young this season correct?

If they get Ware I would start penciling them in for top 5 team in Ohio next year...

Yes. Their FB and RB are Sophomores and Their FB lead them in rushing while their RB averaged 10 ypc and had 16 TDs. Their QB is a junior.

actually, Williams (soph RB) out rushed Durham (soph FB) by 230 yards this years.

I think it bodes well for us that Spencer is not insistent that he plays QB

Yeah my bad. I was looking by order of carries or something on the gmc website.

I do...but I'm much more restrained over here.

I don't post much any more on the main football boards on Yappi. Mostly just the Colerain forum.

I see Spencer playing DB/WB for Colerain. It will be a great opportunity for him to showcase his talents at those positons.

I am a little optimistic regarding Ware, considering Fulmer's gone after this season. We'll see how it goes from here on.

I think he is more enamored with Tennessee the school, not Fulmer...

I would think Tennessee struggling helps us more than Fulmer leaving or staying...Maybe the new guy wont be as slimy a recruiter...

Spencer likes OSU alot.. The UT ties are overblown in my opinion.. we have just as good a shot as anyone
