I saw Spencer play a couple of times last year... He's a very nice looking prospect... I feel RB definitely is his future for college... He's very thick already as a Sophomore and will get even bigger... Definitely one to watch for the next couple of years...

SHARONVILLE ? Princeton High School didn't miss a beat Friday night. Spencer Ware, Jeff Duckworth and the Vikings football team did what they do best ? pass.

While attempting to put aside an alleged shooting threat on the school early Friday morning, Princeton airmailed Greater Miami Conference foe Hamilton a 43-19 drubbing at Viking Stadium.

"Our main thing was to just try and stay focused," said Duckworth, a junior receiver. "We kept playing it off as if it was a regular school day, and we played it off as if it was a regular football night."

"It got to the field a little bit, but we played like it didn't affect us," added Ware, Princeton's sophomore quarterback. "We just went out there and did our thing."

Big Blue struggled to figure out the Vikings' aerial attack all night, as Ware connected on 20-of-28 passes for 358 yards, including TD connections to Duckworth from 42, 48 and 33 yards out. Ware tossed a total of five touchdowns, a Princeton school record.

"(Ware) is an outstanding player, he made some big plays," said Hamilton coach Jim Place, whose Big Blue fell to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the GMC. "We just didn't execute. We need to find out how to make big plays and take some of them to the house."

Could be a great addition to the '10 recruiting class. A Slash-ish player could really benefit any offense. It is what I had hoped they would do for Henton (Make him line up in the backfield or at wide receiver and have him run a reverse or pass). The opportunity to do such things is available at a school like Ohio State. And, for young quarterback prospects that can run and throw, it gives them real time experience vs. 1st string defenses.

He may be a tough get for OSU. Apparently his uncle, Darryl Hardy, played at Tennessee about 15-20 years ago and Ware himself is a UT fan. Granted, I got this second (at least) hand, but regardless, OSU has a difficult task ahead of it trying to land him.

Sophomore quarterback Spencer Ware had 12 rushes for 148 yards and two touchdowns, including a 70-yard scoring run at the 6:41 mark of the second quarter, to lift Princeton to a 35-7 victory over Mason Friday night.

Ware was 8-of-10 passing for 106 yards and two touchdowns for the Vikings, who are ranked No. 4 in the Enquirer Division I area coaches' poll. Junior Jeff Duckworth had four receptions for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Spencer Ware is the best player I have seen at his age in Cincinnati in long, long, long time...If he were in an offense that ran a power I, he'd shatter all of Carlos Snow's rushing and TD records (or did Banium already do that?? God, I'm getting old. )

He's a human high light reel...and should be looked at as a RB/WR/ATH...I hope all Buckeye fans get a chance to see him play because once you do, you'll want him in Scarlet & Gray.

I've only seen highlights on the news, but he does seem like the real deal...It would suck to lose another top Cincy kid to Tennessee.

The Enquirer - Princeton 29, Middletown 28

Princeton rallied behind sophomore quarterback Spencer Ware, after being down 22-3 at halftime.

Ware finished the game with 97 yards rushing on 24 carries and three rushing touchdowns.

Ware also threw for 282 yards on 21-for-40 passing.

If you want to see Spencer in action throwing the ball check out Jeff Duckwoth's film from scoutingohio...

Couple plays in there of him running the ball and escaping pressure to make throws...

I don't believe his future is at QB but he throws a nice ball with zip...

I think his best position is RB, and when his full film comes out I am sure there are going to be highlights of him running all over the field...

Say what you want, but that kid has a VERY good arm, good zip, and it looked like he really put the ball on the spot. Had a quick release too.

If he were to grow a few inches, who knows, maybe he could easily be a quarterback.

Not saying that I disagree with you...Just as of right now I see RB...could be wrong and of course this is the only film that I have looked at...
