Dwight had a great game on friday completing 12-13 for 200 yards and 2 scores. He also ran for 120 and a TD. I would like to see him in Scarlet and Grey

Dwight Macon
Being from Steubenville, I really hope Macon plays his college ball at The Ohio State University. Latest game against Coshocton: 12 for 12, 292 yards. Up next, Youngstown Cardinal Mooney.

Local Sports - Heraldstaronline
"Steubenville finished with 277 yards on 42 carries, while holding the run-happy Cardinals to 139. Macon led the Red's running attack with 123 yards and his two TDs. Busick also went over 100 yards, finishing with 108.Macon threw for an additional 789 yards. His longest pass was caught by Michael Goodwin for 21 yards." I'm pretty sure Macon had a great game, but I don't think he threw for 789 yards Roll Red Roll!!! |

LOL, No I believe he only threw for 79 yards, but it would've been nice had he thrown for 789 yards
Big win, on to Perry. I hope Ohio State offers him. This kid is a winner. Don't let him slip away to another Big Ten school, that's for sure. |

I am not a high school football evaluator but I did watch the Steubenville/Cardinal Mooney game this past Saturday and I was pretty impressed with what I saw but after the game could not remember the kid's name. Anyhow, I think he has an extremely strong arm and needless to say is very athletic. I do not know if he has all the QB "tools" to play as the Big 10 level but he certainly is an athlete. I had seen Spencer Ware on TV earlier this year and when I saw Macon I immediately thought of Ware when it comes to their athletic abilities.

Big Red in Final Four - News, Sports, Jobs - The Intelligencer / Wheeling News-Register
"Macon threw for 202 yards and two scores, while running for 43 and another while Busick finished with 116 on the ground and Brandon add 57, with both finding the end zone." Hope the staff finds him worthy of a scholarship offer. |

Big Red wins again, playing for another state title : )
Round 2: Big Red vs. Alter - News, Sports, Jobs, Community Information – The Herald-Star
Just doing my part to keep the "Macon discussion" alive. Macon goes 9 for 16 for 168 yards -- ran for one score and threw for another one. Big Red wins 30 to 6. The kid is a proven winner. He has winning habits and plays for a winning program. The Buckeyes need to continue to get guys like this. |
