I was surprised at the low number of clips against Van Wert
 . Looks like Shawnee will be playing VW in VW next year, I may have to trek 2 miles and take a closer look....impressive video.

With his size, I think he'll outgrow LB by his senior year and be a DE prospect.

As Wad said, great instincts and he also plays downhill very well. He has a ton of size and I definetly think he outgrows LB. I really think DT is even a possibility or DE. I'm pretty sure Lima Shawnee plays weak competition (correct me if I'm wrong Schwab?), so it would be interesting to see him go to some combines. Either way, great sophmore film and the '10 class looks loaded in Ohio.

To be blunt, the WBL plays an all-star game each year against the MAC (Coldwater, St. Henry, Delphos St. Johns, Marion Local, Minster, Versailles, Fort Recovery, New Bremen, Parkway) and the NWC (Crestview, Lincolnview  ), and usually gets beat. The MAC plays some of the best small school football you will ever see.However, over the years, the WBL makes some serious noise in the playoffs. Teams such as Defiance, St. Marys Memorial, Kenton, Celina and Ottawa-Glandorf are usually near the top of the league, with most (if not all) making serious runs at state titles (almost always DII and DIII) within recent history, plus also rans such as a 6-4 Van Wert ( ) losing the DIII state title game in '00 by a missed EP in the second overtime to the home team (Canton Central Catholic) in Fawcett Stadium. VW's first ever game on turf, 3 hours from home. That VW team lost its last game at home to Defiance 41-7, finished 6-4 (5-4 in WBL, about 4th or 5th) squeaked in with computer points, then beat Big Walnut 38-20, Bellevue 35-21, Bishop Watterson 13-7, and then Portsmouth 28-21. Ouch, big time dogs in every game. Maybe they just weren't taken seriously, who knows. Shame on the opponent if true. But I digress....The league can be competitive, and usually will be. The players aren't sent to high-level programs (Penton to OSU was HUGE around here), but it seems that the consistency of competition week-to-week really gets these teams on the same page. Really hard to describe. I guess if you see a 10-0 team coming out of this league, they are probably legit. BTW, Andrew Crummey OG Maryland is from Van Wert, Korey Lichtensteiger OL from BG played at Crestview, who re-built the program from the ground up in the last 10 years, UC QB Ben Mauk is from Kenton, and I promise at least the first 2 will be drafted in the coming months. Disclaimer: Christmas eve night/Christmas morning, let's just say I found some eggnog...I might have left out a few details. If Zac can play in the WBL, and from his sophomore videos it appears as though he can, then he is one worth watching. This area can hit big from time to time, and we are due for another good one. Zac looks huge compared to the other players on the field with him. He seems to move well and get through traffic well. He seems to have a nose for the ball as well as even on kickoffs he is right where the ball and ball carrier are. At his size as a soph it'll be interesting to see if he grows in height or weight or just gets used to his size now either way he shows a lot of promise.

Thanks schwab...sounds like they play good competition then, at least for the level they are on (obviously not a Colerain or what not). Either way if he looks good at camp and combines, that will help him if the film leaves any doubt. There are players such as Nathan Williams that don't play great competition but earn offers from going and competing at camp in front of the staff. Either way I really like Rosenbauer and it will be interesting to see how he progresses next year.

He led the league in tackles as a sophmore, which is a pretty big feat...
The league is more of a pound it out league, besides Kenton who likes to air it out... and Schwab you left out Bath even tho we have been down the past couple years... BTW his Dad was one of Butler's assistant coaches in high school, and his other son is a 6'2'' 8th grader...

Shawnee has a couple of kids coming down the pipes that should be getting D1 looks...Zac being one in '10, and RB Brandon Stephenson and LB/DE Sheldon Hall being two in '09...
