He wants to play OLB in a 3-4, but the lack of interest is alarming.

Peppers played DE in college....he has played exclusively DE in Carolina......the comparison is a bit off, IMO.

He did, and his primary position was DE. But he also played OLB from time to time. His skill set is pretty much what the zone blitz is made to exploit; phenomenal pass rusher who is also quite competent in coverage of the TE, running back or fullback.

If William can approach 1/2 of Peppers's production as a Heel, he'll be all-conference - whatever conference he selects.

Yeah, he's definitely athletic enough to be a stand-up pass rusher in a 3-4.

Does William have comparable athletic ability? I know William is an athlete, but Peppers is arguably one of the (if not the) best in the NFL.

I'm not certain there is another human being who has "comparable athletic ability" to Julius Peppers. So I'd have to say no.

Peppers was a member of the NC state high-school champion sprint (4x200m) relay team, and weighed about 250 when he did so.

With all that being said, William Gholston has an offer to become an Ohio State Buckeye, and Peppers does not. I think William would look really good in scarlet and gray!

Yes he does, the athletic ability that William possesses is extremely rare for a kid his size.
