It's hard to predict what position this kid will end up playing in college because right now he is so effective all over the field. Andre Givens is one to watch in the class of 2010.

I love his video. He seems faster in pads than his track numbers indicate. I think he would probably win state if he wore a helmet.

Jay Paterno was recently in northeast Ohio. He stopped at Youngstown Cardinal Mooney and offered a scholarship to junior cornerback/running back Braylon Heard.

Paterno has also has stopped at Hubbard High School to check on junior running back Andre Givens.

Givens had a big junior season rushing for 1,153 yards and averaging 6.6 yards per carry. He also had 200 receiving yards and scored 17 times.

We all had to endure the McGuffie love fest the past year, and 3 concussions later, he is gone. 170 is too small to play RB in the Big Ten.

This kid can run with the best of them. Might be a little shorter than Justin Green but looks a tad faster on film. It will be interesting to see whether he gets offered.

Is he being looked at more as a DB for us? I couldn't see him being a RB when we have guys like Erick Howard, Mack Brown, Roderick Smith, Corey Brown, etc. who many think are better RBs looking at us
