Also, although schools are severely limited in off-campus contact with Sophomores, Illinois has sent mail and Daniel is very interested in tOSU, Illinois, Michigan, Notre Dame, Clemson and Penn State. |

Awesome numbers, and you can't have too many fast football players. He has pretty good size as well. Definitely one to keep an eye on (thank goodness there are so many eyes on here to help with that chore ) |

He's Not only a hometown kid but a soon to be fellow alum of mine. I'll watch most of the LCC games this year. I don't really know him personally but I know the family very well. Really good people.

Did he transfer to Shawnee HS in Lima? He has two profiles on Scout, one each for him at Shawnee and Central Catholic...

Now plays for Kenton.

I was at this game, quality stuff. Lombardo can fly. Kenton QB is (SO) Maty Mauk, brother of Ben. Strong arm, throws across the field way too much. Late in the 4th he had a first down if he kept running straight, but instead cut outside and went out of bounds with 3 minutes and change left, stopping the clock, eventually leading to VW getting the ball back. Almost cost them the game. That article did not mention how the game actually ended. After Kenton's last INT, VW got the ball back yet again and started moving the ball on out-patterns, with no timeouts. They were within 30 yards or so, and stepped up to the line with 12 seconds left, and tried to spike the ball. VW was called for a false start, so after the penalty, the clock was to re-start after the ball was set and instead of spiking the ball again, the QB threw another out-pattern, and the game ended. Would have been one more chance at a lucky heave, had he spiked it. *Morrison's dad Rick is in the Ball State HOF and his grandfather Joe had his #40 retired by the NY Giants, and while coaching at South Carolina he came up with their black jerseys and the entrance to 2001. Talked to Rick and his buddy all game, great guys. Last edited by schwab; 09-08-2009 at 11:18 PM. |
