By Simmons...will be at the USC Rising Star Camp next week. Plans to camp at Louisville as well as make it back to OSU and UM in July. Says he grew up a fan of the Trojans. Also interested in Louisville because of Coach English.

Physically he has to be one of the best put together Juniors I have seen in a long time.

Anyone else find it a little odd that we're salivating over the bodies of high school boys? It's not just Marvin, but this phenomenon always fascinates me.

Either way though he obviously is physically one of the most impressive high school Jr's I have seen in awhile.

It's not really about the bodies but what they can do. You see someone that jacked at that age and it makes you wonder what he can do on the football field. Please don't make us sound like pedo's.

Robinson admits he didn't have the best outing earlier this summer at the USC Rising Star Camp. Along with being injured, he just couldn't get in the zone. But he was there on Sunday, making big play after big play in drills and then in one-on-one battles. He was the one guy who was consistently able to hang with both the physical and speedy backs in the camp.

Assets: Has a tremendous burst and excellent ball skills.

What was most impressive at camp: For a guy who is making the change from safety to linebacker, he sure looked a natural.

Areas for improvement: He just needs to get reps at his new position because all the tools are there.

On the Hoof: Has good height, long arms and wide shoulders. Robinson's frame will fill out and enable him to play all three linebacker positions.

There was an interview with Allen Treiu today and it sounded like he wanted to stay at FS. The kid is huge but he seems to still have the ability to play there. I guess it will be shown while the pads are on what position he wants to play.

Robinson carries his weight a lot better than Burgess does. He definitely held his own here. On another note, Newsome and McNeal were very chummy over the weekend. All good kids though.

do you all think the depth chart may be a hinderance to robinson's recruitment by us? it sure has "scared" some of the '09 kids away, namely: vlad, mcgee...etc.

When a guy has USC on his list, the depth chart isn't a factor.

And on another note, Marvin doesn't appear to be the type of kid to shy away from competition.
