Class of 2010 defensive end Derrick Bryant (Columbus, Ohio/Brookhaven) recently received a scholarship offer from Illinois. Bryant is one of the top ten juniors in the Buckeye State.

Bryant's highlight tape on scoutingohio shows the entirety of his varsity playing experience, all of about 5 plays. Great looking prospect based on a very small sample size, but I would assume the staff wants to see a complete season of football, plus academic progress, before extending an offer.
