He's a very natural passer compared to Gardner.

I would agree with this strongly.
Gardner has a very strong arm, he just has a very unorthodox delivery and some really funky mechanics. His throwing motion looks very much like Vince Young's to me. |

Hasn't happened yet, but will soon.
MSU could pull another 3-5 verbals in the next few weeks, Bolden included in that total. Last edited by Spartan; 06-16-2009 at 10:45 PM. |

Of course, it would only mean that UM got their real target in Jones and they are pushing Gardner out. |

I believe he just typed Gardner instead of Bolden by mistake.

QB Bolden lists his top three - BK link
Tuesday, June 16, 2009 | Print Entry Posted by Bill Kurelic ESPNU 150 Watch List quarterback Robert Bolden (Orchard Lake, Mich./St. Mary's) has 23 scholarship offers including Michigan State, Penn State, Oregon, Michigan, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Nebraska and Northwestern. However, three schools stand out for the 6-foot-4, 195-pounder. "It's mainly Penn State, Michigan State and Oregon," Bolden said. "And I've been talking to West Virginia, but I haven't done much as far as getting down there." Bolden was in East Lansing on Friday for the Spartans' camp. "It went pretty good," Bolden said. "I saw a lot of guys I've heard about over the Internet." Bolden has been St. Mary's quarterback since the beginning of his sophomore season and said he might attend a day of camp sometime this month at Penn State, though nothing is scheduled at this point. When asked which of three schools he has at the top of his list, Bolden said, "I don't have a favorite." |
