Junior offensive lineman Andrew Donnal (Whitehouse, Ohio/Anthony Wayne) has attended his share of college football games this fall.

The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder attended the Ohio State-Wisconsin game this past weekend. Before that he attended the Notre Dame at Michigan State game and the Minnesota at Ohio State game. Donnal plans to attend the Indiana at Illinois game Oct. 18 and the Penn State at Ohio State game Oct. 25.

When asked about his trip to Madison this past weekend, Donnal said, "I liked it. It's a crazy place. It was a good game. I liked the two teams. I was watching both of them."

Just watched his film:

Andrew can really move well for his size. Also, stating the obvious, his wingspan allows him to hold defenders off a mile away. Question is, will that be enough to earn an offer? He could be nastier, he has an odd first step off the ball, and he is a tackle in a year with James and Norwell already having offers. I really like Andrew's potential but he is more of a finesse blocker at this point and I'm not sure Bollman will go for it. Could be this year's Chris Freeman, Zebrie Sanders, etc. I'm going to say he doesn't get offered but he is one to keep an eye on, especially if we were to miss out on James. Disclaimer: I have been wrong before, just not often

I don't see him as a finesse blocker at all. He's got quick feet and drive people back. I've watched Freeman's film as well, and Freeman is all arm, not so good feet and didn't drive people back. Donnal is all that. It's very possible that he moves to tackle but at this point, I can see him as a Ben Hartsock type TE.

I didn't really mean finesse in a negative way...I just see more smooth movement than I do a nasty and devestating blocker. Usually we seem to go for the latter. He moves the defender well intially but I just don't see the fire in the belly to want to finish them off with their face in the dirt. Odd that you say TE though because I was thinking the same thing, he may be athletic enough to play there.

Put it this way: his blocking is more impressive than Josh Jenkins.
