I can't find the Cincy Enquirer blog post any more, but this website quotes it verbatim. Oaks Christian is not mentioned in this writeup but I confirmed with Colerain head coach, Tom Bolden, that they are on the wish list of teams being negotiated with for the event and was told by the elder Herbstriet that Colerain would get a 'marquee' matchup this season because, well to be honest, the Cardinals are going to be loaded.

I can't imagine with the QBs (Miller included) in the '11 class.

Man I love this offer. Growing up a Niner fan is one thing, but going after a top pocket passer from out of state is a great move. Seems like when we lucked out on Sanchez we really didn't look for anybody out west or south. I still hope they offer Gardner and go just as hard after Montana. Getting this kid in the fold would be big hopefully and get a foot in the door in California.

I would LOVE to see Colerain play Jenks!

Colerain would kill Oaks Christian. For all the praise OC gets, the reality is that they play in a weak division and make their name off of a few star players. Couple that with the travel distance, and the talent that Colerain will have and you get an ugly ending.
