Pangos All-Midwest Frosh/Soph Camp Recap............Taylor is described as a physical player who is an above average rebounder and is developing a low post game. Taylor states he has offers from Ohio State, Cincy, Purdue, Indiana and Kentucky. Louisville and Florida are in contact.

In the Rivals database, Ohio State is listed under him but I have no idea if he has an offer or not. I guess when that is verified we should change the heading and move into the main Recruiting Forum.

I wouldn't mind seeing these threads start to move to the main forum, the guys we really seem to have interest in...Much like the football recruiting forum...I sometimes miss these threads, due to only taking a look at the main forum...

In the Chandler thread, Taylor is referred to as a wing. At 6'6 185 that sounds a tad small for a PF. Is he expected to grow into a 4? Does he have G skills or more of an inside game? I can't find much to indicate where he projects at the college level.

I really don't think that there's too much out there regarding the 2011 prospects regarding their potential. I think the only way that we can get some insight into one of them is that if one of us saw one of the 2011 prospects in person.

Regarding the changing of the thread title to represent that a recruit has an offer that is really up to see admins/moderators when they hear from a reliable source. Once that happens the thread title is changed. I would assume if you have seen this offer information in a premium site or from a very reputable source you probably could put it here and the thread title would get changed.

he's a PF at this point. no telling if he'll grow, but he's definitely a PF. this kid plays with incredible intensity. He might develop a little more of a range on his shot, but he's incredibly active (and valuable) under the hoop even at 6'6" (rebounds very well).

Thx for the insight rowdie! 185 lbs just doesn't spell PF to me but at that age he has plenty of filling out ahead.

Somewhat strange that they are recruiting him but he doesn't have an offer. Does it make a whole lot of sense to me.

pretty common, actually - especially for a kid who's only going to be a soph. a lot of coaches are probably still evaluating taylor because his game is tremendous but his size isn't. if he were a couple inches taller, he's an elite type recruit. as it is, he's certain to be top50, perhaps higher.

there are so many great 2011 prospects in the midwest (indiana and illinois with probably their top years in a while), schools don't necessarily have to rush into offering them all. painter is sold on taylor, for whatever reason it appears thad has to see a bit more. no big deal.
