I live in Upper Sandusky and have watched Jon play. There are alot of people here who are of the opinion that Jon has some absolutely great natural b-ball skills. The kid is just so naturally gifted-- he can excell at will sometimes, but at other times he'll struggle with his game. He can force his shot and get out of his skill range. If you look at his brother Jake, in contrast, he lacks some of the natual gifts that his brother has, but he makes up for that in his intensity and drive to win-- whatever it takes and team first (as evidenced in his DII co-player of the year award w/ Cook).

If Jon could develop that same intensity and realize that he can't always do it all and know that sometimes his game is just going to call for him to get involved in other ways (dishing to the open man, driving to the basket instead of looking for the jumper, etc.) he would be all world. Get some more muscle on his skinny frame, and continue striving to be like his brother as a floor general, and this kid may proove to be truely special. Time will tell, but I think with Big Bro off to college and him being the lone "Big Fish", so to speak, he'll take on the role of floor general and become more vocal and more intense because he'll have to out of necessity. His dad is INTENSE, at ALL TIMES and I think that will rub off onto him now that he will become the leader of the team and have more responsibilities w/o his bro there to go to.
