I was born a poor black child.
Actually, I was born in N.J. in the wee hours on 1/2/75. The folks were watching tOSU miss a field goal to lose the Rose Bowl when my mom went into labor. Right after I was born (well not RIGHT after) we moved to Pickerington, OH. Saturdays were always a time to get the family together and watch the Bucks.
OSU garage flags, 1460, Coops' ads, and the significance of each fall Saturday kind of got to me. I almost went to
OSU but I decided to chase the high school sweetheart at BGSU. I went to Toledo. I figured that was enough disatnce to drive, but still far enough away to get hopped up each night. Don't laugh, it seemed feasible at the time. Anywho, I am living in WAY upstate NY with my wife, three girls, and the bitch. Saturdays in the fall are an event in our house. I think they are events because it is the one thing that my family can do together that vaguely resembles what I did as a kid.
I've been a very happy lurker at the o-zone, bucknuts, and this site for a few years. I remember some of the threads that the more prolific posters on this site had with the moderators on Bucknuts. Good Schtuff.
This is an excellent site.
On a side note, I started to post on bucknuts but I quit. I banned myself. I started a thread with the title "Let Zwick start over Krenzel". Yes, I was a moron. Maybe still are.
