One snap with him in the QB position is all it takes for me to lose the bet...he doesn't even have to run with it (he can hand it off or pass it). Even if the play in which he takes the snap as a QB gets penalized and then they don't snap to him again (thus making the QB snap play technically non-existent), I'll still pay up, because they called and ran the play.
I wouldn't be saying it if I weren't confident in it. IIRC, I've only be wrong on one board-public bet either back on Bustnuts or here, and that was the Gamble going in the first round bet with MistriBuck, and even then I was only four positions from winning (Gamble went 28th overall I think), and MistriBuck insisted Gamble would be 15th or better. Some of the bets folks made with me (and I won) were:
1. Zwick starting against Texas Tech as a true freshman (how stupid does that sound now?).
2. D'Andrea pushing Wilhelm out of the starting MLB position.
3. Fox being moved back to safety (every frickin' year).
4. McMullen starting over Krenzel in the Washington game (2003 opener for those who forgot).
I'm sure that if I'm missing a bet I lost, someone while remind me. I don't bet unless I'm really sure of it.
