It's a little early to be worried about Denlinger. He got hurt in the Ohio North/South All Star game and he didn't look like he was in great shape for the Big 33. As it was pointed out it's very difficult for a DT to look great in an all-star game for a number of reasons. Denlinger was athletic enough to play middle linebacker in high school so he has great feet. Some time in the weight room and time to adjust to a new position will be good for him. He'll be fine.
With Pitcock, Green, Patterson, Penton, Cotton, Abdallah and Schafer we should be just fine in the middle of the d-line this year. I'm more concerned about who's going to provide a consistent pass rush off the edge.
